The tradition for Chinese dining is family style. Therefore we recommend that you share the experience of tasting a variety of dishes as a family.

Top Five of our Favorite Dishes for China Boat:

  1. Candied Walnut Shrimp: Lightly fried jumbo shrimp mixed with a secret honey sauce and topped with candied walnuts in a bed of fresh broccoli.

  2. China Boat Special: sautéed lobster meat, scallops, shrimp and white meat chicken with mixed vegetable in spicy brown sauce, little pine nut on the top. This dish is very welcomed by our customers.
  3. Steamed Fish Fillet with Ginger Sauce: A fillet of Sole fish is steamed to just the right tenderness and then topped with hot ginger sauce and scallions. This is a light and healthy dish.

  4. Braised String Beans: String beans and shredded pork sautéed with a soy garlic sauce.

  5. Asparagus with Shrimp and Scallops: Another light and healthy dish, sautéed in a white garlic sauce.

A Small Suggestion for Drinks:

We offer a full bar and variety of wines. Though we suggest these are the best pairings for eating Chinese food:

Tsing Tao Beer (traditional Chinese beer): Always perfect with any Chinese dish. Riesling: If you like to have wine, this is the best to have because it’s low in alcohol level and high in acidity, with perfect sugar balance it offers the most balance of flavors with your meal.

Top 5 of our Favorite for China Bowl:

China Bowl is our sister restaurant and though many of our dishes are the same as China Boat, we also offer a few new specialties. Those dishes are:

  1. Fried Calamari: Unlike traditional fried calamari, we lightly fry fresh calamari and then its sautéed in a salt/ pepper and hot pepper flavoring.
  2. Salt/ Pepper Ribs: If you’re not a seafood person, this dish is similar with the calamari but instead made with tender pork ribs.
  3. Beef Noodle Soup: You may pick between a ramen or Udon noodle. Noodles bath in a beef broth our chef especially stews, mixed in with baby bok choy.
  4. Chinese Chicken Salad: A light and healthy dish, green lettuce topped with grilled white meat chicken and crispy wonton noodles with a creamy coconut dressing.
  5. Volcano Shrimp: Jumbo Shrimp lightly fried and then sautéed with a spicy sweet and sour sauce in a bed of broccoli.
